GERMANY GDP DATA

Germany’s GDP expanded slower than expected at 0.3 percent for the quarter, unchanged from the previous period. On a y/y basis, GDP rose 0.5 percent, in line with expectations.

Exports in the country rose 2.5 percent while private consumption rose 0.4 percent. Capital investment declined 0.9 percent for the quarter. (Bloomberg)
