Indonesia’s 2Q12 GDP grew 6.4 percent on a y/y basis and growth in the previous quarter was 6.3 percent. Stronger demand in the country fueled by availability of credit saw the nation pull of a stronger number for the quarter. Expectations came in at 6.1 percent for there were chances of slower exports weighing on the country.
On a q/q basis, GDP grew 2.8 percent. (CNBC)
